Public Works Code Updates <br />128 Public Works Director Jesse Freihammer explained City staff has been reviewing <br />129 ordinances and has a variety of public works related updates. He asked for <br />130 discussion and feedback to give to the City Council. <br />131 <br />132 Bench Ordinance 703.05 <br />133 Mr. Freihammer reviewed the Bench Ordinance with the Commission. <br />134 <br />135 Member Fergus indicated he was appreciative of the addition of this adjacent to <br />136 City pathways. <br />137 <br />138 Chair Ficek noted there is a section P in there, relocation of license or permit and <br />139 he wondered if there was intended to be text behind that one. <br />140 <br />141 Mr. Freihammer thought that was one section that the City Attorney was going to <br />142 add some language to. <br />143 <br />144 Chair Ficek indicated he also liked the addition for the removal if it expires and not <br />145 actively being renewed the City can go in and remove it. <br />146 <br />147 Member Luongo thought they were also waiting on some language for ADA <br />148 compliance because there is a Section J but there was not any wording in that <br />149 section. <br />150 <br />151 Mr. Freihammer explained the City will clarify some language on that. <br />152 <br />153 Member Rudolf indicated she had a question about Section K versus Section M. <br />154 The last sentence of Section K says, "Signage shall be affixed only to the street- <br />155 side portion of the bench backrest' and in Section M it says, "Advertising may be <br />156 displayed on the front and rear faces of the backrest." <br />157 <br />158 Mr. Freihammer indicated that was a good catch.
