<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the city <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly <br />held on the 9th day of April, 1990, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The fOllowing members were present: Maschka, Johnson, Cushman, <br />Thomas, and Rog, and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8567 <br /> <br />RAMSEY COUNTY CHARTER COMMISSION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Charter Commission was created by the <br />Legislature and its members appointed by the Judiciary for the purpose <br />of writing the first Home Rule Charter in the state of Minnesota; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after extensive research and hearings, the Ramsey County <br />Charter Commission has proposed a draft of the Charter for review and <br />consideration by the people of Ramsey County; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Roseville City Council <br />encourages all citizens of Roseville to become informed about the <br />proposed Ramsey County Home Rule Charter; <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the members of the Roseville City Council <br />encourage citizens of Roseville to go to the polls and exercise their <br />right by voting on this issue in the November 6, 1990 general election. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Maschka, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Maschka, Johnson, Cushman, Thomas, <br />and Rog, and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA) <br />) SS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY ) <br /> <br />I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified City Manager of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, do hereby certify <br />that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of <br />minutes of a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 9th day <br />of April, 1990, with the original thereof on file in my office. <br /> <br />WITNESS :MY HAND officially as such Manager this 11th day of April, <br />1990. <br /> <br />SEAL <br /> <br />~ <br />
