I
`
PLANNING REPORT
DATE:
CASE NUMBER:
APPLICANT:
LOCATION:
ACTION REQUESTED:
PLANNING CONSIDERATIONS:
7 May 1986
1657
Jerome Formo
South and East of Mid Oaks
Lane (See Sketch)
Division of Platted Lot
I. The property in question consists of Lots 9 and 10 of Block 3 of Mid
Oaks Subdivision, platted in the 1950s. Attached is a copy of a portion
of the section map indicating the location of these lots as they relate
to the other lots platted in the Mid Oaks Additior
2. The Formo's own a single-family home that occupies the northern most
lot at the Immediate corner (Lot 10). You will note from the attached
drawing, submitted by the applicant of the two lots, that this house is
placed in a manner so as to conform to the setback requirement on the
northerly lot. The Formos at this time propose to reestablish Lot 9 as
an 80 foot buildable and seperate lot as originally platted. You will
note that the origional lots as platted in the subdivision as a whole had
generally 80 feet of frontage. Thus, the proposed division Is In scale
with the development to the south and west (across the street).
3.1 You will note on the copy of the base map attached (with single-family
homes Indicated by circles) that the lots to the east and fronting on
Mid Oaks Road are divided so as to have three houses In the block
versus five houses both to the west and to the east. Thus, the building
sites In the center of this subdivision were enlarged by combining
portions of the lots to others. However, the lots immediately
contiguous to the property in question and the lots across the street to
the west are developed at the 80 foot frontage standard as originally
platted.
