i May 30, i978 To: City Council FROM: Jim Andre SUWECT: Cleanco Special Use Permit on October 18, 1976, the City Council approved a special use permit for Cleaneo with ten conditions as specified on the attached letter to Mr. Trapp. All conditions were to be eomplied•with by June 30, 1977. On July 1, 1977, an inspection was made of premises and the matter was scheduled for council review on July 11, 1977. The council acted to require Mr. Trapp to submit a letter within 7 days outlining a timetable for completing the conditions. On July 18, 1977, a letter was received from Mr. Trapp stating that all items except the canopy would be completed by August 1, 1977, and it was anticipated that the canopy would be ccuplted "by September or October, 1977." On August 1, 1977, an inspection was made and determined that the Lands- caping (dodding and plantings) and curbing conditions had not been initiated, 14 nor had any progress been made on the canopy. On August 8, 1977, the council acted to continue the special. use permit conditions and date for completion of the canopy be continued until September 12, 1977. On September 8, 1977, a re -inspection was made and the matter reviewed by the council on September 120 1977. Zhe council acted to continue to the second meeting of October. On October 27, a re -inspection was made and determined that the canes was not built and the landscaping and sodding was not completed except for seven small shrubs on the boulevard along County Road C-2. Zhe council revie<,ed the matter on octaob 31, 1977, and continued it to the first meeting .ion December, 1977. letter received from Mr. Trapp stating he would be out of town until the first of the year. On December 12, Council continued. the matter to the January 9, 1978 meeting. On January 6, 1978, a re -inspection was made and determined that the canopy, landscaping and curbing had not been completed. At the January 9, 1978 meeting the council ached to continue the matter until May 8, 1978. On May 8, 1978, a re -inspection was made and determined that the canopy had been cmpleted, but the landscaping was not copleted and sections of curb along Partridge had not been completed and other curb sections were 11
