9 FLU f-auto tervice center/ Feb. 18 1987 City ,f Roseville City Council Re: Outside Fenced Enclosure for TIRES PLUS of Roseville To Whom it may Concern: We have enjoyed be-ng an active part of the City of Roseville and have received a warm welcome. We regret the inconvenience of needing your consideration on this matter of outside storage and fence height for our building. Basically, our needs are these: An to secure a valuable resource to us --used tires while the yiawaiteshipment, which happens every other day by bonded insured carriers. Also, the fenced area would enclose the trash container (one container is currently being used for entire building). The enclosure that we propose would be constructed of clear cedar stained to match the earth tones of the building. The post supporting would be 6 X 6 studs and the cross supports the fence would be 2 X 6 s. The clear cedar slatting would be of I stock to produce a commercial grade, quality fence. The fence would have 8 foot high sides, which would meet the bottom of the manserd roof on the building. The tires that are to be stored in the fenced area would only be stacked six feet high, and the trash container would not exceed 5 feet high. We feel that our success has been due to our unending efforts to maintain a professional clean image at our stores, and that the addition of this enclosed area would help us to keep unsightly tires and trash out of the public's sight. We at TIRES PLUS have been profession- alizing a market "tires and automotive service" and want to continue in this effort. We feel that this fenced enclosure would be asthetically complimentary as well as structurally sound. Our entire business image depends on it. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
