2660 CIVIC CENTER DRIVE TELEPHONE 484-337 1 r6sevi
Zlo: Lido's planning file
From: David P. Drown y IIZg.neer Assistant Cit
Re: Rice Creek Watershed District ponding requirements
Date: November 27, 1985
eMINNESOTA 55113
Talked with John Panuska with Rice Creek engineers, Hickok and Associates,
concerning the district's ponding requirements for the Lido's Development.
Based on the precedent established in the past with parcels draining directly
to Little Johanna, the district will not be requiring ponding or discharge
control but simply skinning facilities to address water quality.
With this in mind, elimination of the ditch ponding along the Frontage Road
with an appropriate skimming device installed in the manhole should be adequate
to meet Rice Creek's needs. Thus, the sidewalk conflict along the front should
not be a problem.
cc: Charles V. Honchell, Public Works Director
