F.
C
October 22, 1985
FROM: R. Corbin
2359 No. Victoria
Roseville, MINN. _55u3
In reference to Roseville City Councilman, Al Kehr, I believe
that a Person who in Olected to a position to represent all people
should n.ot be allowed to have property rezoned for his own personal
gain.
I know it is hard for the other council persons to vote against
his wishes, but that is not fair to the adjoining property owners.
I wonder how they would like to have condos abutting their
privucy, when they had built and lived for nany yew on sing,,
faaily-zoned property?
I personally think that in a situation like this, there should be
a law that prevents a. peon from being both lawmaker and rezoner for
Idrsoasl gain. People knot* when they buy, that the property is
zoned single f"ily .
At the April 8, 1985 Roseyille City Council Meeting, Al Kehr's
attorney, John Daubney, stated that YOAions don't mean anything,
when my unole's Petition with eighteen (18) n"es on it was announced
at the meeting. try uncle then stated," as long as Petitions don't mean
anything, why did Al kehr go house to house with one and tell some of
the people that my uncle was for the rezoning?" There was no responses
SincParely,
Robert
Corbin
