N 41k z Minnesota Pollution Control Agency UU00 September 15, 1983 Mr. Gary Dodge Metropolitan Recovery Corporation 3512 Edmund Boulevard Minneapolis, Minnesota 55406 Dear Mr. Dodge: The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) Board will consider the environ- mental assessment worksheet (EAW) on the Metropolitan Metals Recovery and Proces- sing facility during their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, September 27, 1983. Although the enclosed agenda shows this item scheduled for sometime after 4:00 p.m., since it is not an appearance item, it could be considered earlier. The Agency staff has prepared responses to all comments received, where appropri- ate, and Findings of Fact which form the basis for the staff recommendation to the Board. The staff is recommending a negative declaration (no environmental impact statement) on this project. A copy of the Findings of Fact is attached for your information. The Board meeting is open to the public, and anyone wishing to present informa- tion to the Board may do so. I recommend that you attend the meeting to answer any questions which may arise about the project.
