CASE NUMBER: 1503-84
APPLICANT: Saga Enterprises, Inc. Page 2
6. Saga Enterprises, Inc. is a nation-wide organization which some college
students will remember as being in charge of their food service at their
college or university. Saga Enterprises owns an extended series of
restaurants around the country, some of which are known as "The Black
Angus", and others which are known as "Stuart Anderson's Cattle Company
Restaurant". In this Metropolitan Area, the first such restaurant was
constructed north of Trunk Highway 12, just westerly of Golden Valley.
This restaurant has been highly successful and is considered by many to by
quite attractive.
Those of you who have not seen the restaurant may wish to do so, inasmuch
as the facility proposed in Roseville will be identical in its aesthetic
features.
7. Given the site conditions, it would appear that the development as
proposed will work well and allow for reasonable flexibility for the
future development of the remainder of the parcel.
8. Attached is a brief report from the Engineering Department regarding this
supplication. Commission and Council may wish to add a condition to the
approval that appropriate easements, final utility engineering, and
grading plans shall be subject to engineering staff approval.
