I am in receipt of materials from New Horizon
Enterprises,
Inc. describing their group day care for
pre-school
children. Included with'their letter of transmittalaexplainin age
g their
operation is a letter from the State of Minnesota under date of
December 3, 1980s indicating that these
icensed as a
school under Minnesota Statutes 257.101 through a257people 1123. They al
have sent along information on the other 8 day care centers andso
nursery schools operates] by their group in the tfetropolitan area.
I note that most of those are carried on in churches in the area,
varions
After reviewing the material submitted and assumi
nit
correct, it is my opinion that the proposed use of'the Northweto bestern
Prep School site in the City of Mound is as a school under the
provisions of Sec. 23.011 (d) (J) of the Mound Code of Ordinance
It would therefoi-c appear to me that the are a s'
within the residential use district.
