Attachment 2 <br />1 <br />2 City of Roseville <br />3 ORDINANCE NO. <br />4 <br />5 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />6 TITLE 2, CHAPTERS 201, 202, 203, 204, 206, 207, AND 208 <br />7 <br />8 AMENDING TITLE 2 CHAPTERS 201, 202, 203, 204, 206, 207, AND 208 TO CLARIFY <br />9 THE PURPOSE, MEMBERSHIP, SCHEDULE, DUTIES, AND FUNCITONS OF <br />10 CERTAIN ROSEVILLE ADVISORY COMMISSIONS. <br />11 <br />12 THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: <br />13 <br />14 SECTION 1: Title 2, Section 201 “Advisory Commissions” of the Roseville City <br />15 Code is amended and renumbered to read as follows: <br />16 <br />17 201.01 Establishment and Purpose <br />18 201.02 Purpose <br />19 201.03 Membership <br />20 201.04 Term <br />21 201.05 Compensation <br />22 201.02 Composition and Terms <br />23 201.03 Organization <br />24 201.04 Meetings and Reports <br />25 201.01 ESTABLISHMENT AND PURPOSE. <br />26 <br />27 A.All permanent standing advisory commissions to the City shall be established by adoption <br />28 of an ordinance under this Title and shall be governed by the provisions of this Chapter. <br />29 <br />30 B.Advisory commissions are established to provide a method for citizen input and are <br />31 advisory to the City Council. No advisory commission will have decision-making <br />32 authority for the City, except as expressly established by this Code or State Statutes. <br />33 <br />34 C.From time to time, the City Council may elect to establish other advisory groups by <br />35 adoption of a resolution establishing, among other things, the purpose, membership, <br />36 organization, duties, and term of service for such advisory groups. <br />37 <br />38 D.Advisory commissions and commission members will engage with the Roseville <br />39 community and serve as community liaisons and resources for issues, ideas and proposals <br />40 related to the commission’s subject matter, and will provide appropriate information and <br />41 resources. <br />Qbhf!24!pg!62 <br /> <br />
