Attachment 2 441 D.Perform other duties and functions or conduct studies and investigations as specifically 442 directed or delegated by the City Council. 443 444 SECTION 5: Title 2, Section 206 “Public Works, Environment, and 445 Transportation Commission” of the Roseville City Code is amended and 446 renumbered to read as follows: 447 448 206.01 Establishment and Membership Purpose 449 206.02Membership 450 206.03 Scope, Duties, and Functions 451 206.01 ESTABLISHMENT AND MEMBERSHIP PURPOSE. 452 453 There is established a public works, environment, and transportation commission of the City 454 which shall be subject to Chapter 201 of the City Code. The commission shall serve in an advisory 455 capacity to the City Council, City Manager and Public Works Director on public works, 456 environmental, and transportation matters. 457 206.02 MEMBERSHIP. 458 The commission will consist of seven members appointed by the City Council. 459 460 206.03 SCOPE, DUTIES, AND FUNCTIONS. 461 462 The duties and functions of the commission shall be as follows: 463 464 Serve in an advisory capacity to the City Council, City Manager and Director of Public 465 Works on public works, environmental, and transportation matters (Ord. 1313, 12-6-2004) 466 467 A. Maintain an interest in and an understanding of the functions and operations of the Public 468 Works Department. 469 470 B. Maintain an interest in and an understanding of federal, state, county, regional and other 471 public works, environmental, and transportation services that impact city services. Collaborate with city staff to review, evaluate, and recommend policies and practices 475 regarding sustainability and management of environmental resources. 476 477 D.
