Attachment 7 <br />Lodging Establishment Licensing Ordinance <br />Background <br />The trigger of more than 10 calls per month was based on data on calls to all <br />hotel properties in Roseville. <br />There was a significant difference of calls between 3 hotels and the other 9 <br />hotels <br />In 2021, three hotels were averaging 19 to 45 calls per month. The average <br />number of calls for the 9 hotels was 3 per month. <br />Since then, the number of calls for the top three hotels has declined <br />Two of the hotels have entered intoa Memorandum of Understanding with the <br />City that requires the hotels to implement public safety measures that are <br />intended to assist law enforcement and the hotel in reducing that number of <br />calls and improve public safety <br />We are receiving less calls from the hotel management at certain hotelsbut <br />nuisance and criminal activity still is occurring at those hotels <br />Qbhf!224!pg!342 <br /> <br />
