EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />1 <br />2 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />th <br />3 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 4 day of March, 2024, at <br />4 6:00 p.m. <br />5 The following members were present: ; and the following were absent: . <br />6 Councilmemberintroduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />7 RESOLUTION NO. <br />8 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br />9 ADVERTISEMET FOR BIDS FOF THE COUNTY ROAD B RECONSTRUCTION <br />10 FROMCLEVELAND AVE AND EUSTIS ST (#24-02) <br />11 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council on November 6, 2024, staff has <br />12 prepared plans and specifications for the reconstruction of County Road B from Cleveland <br />13 Avenue to Eustis Street (City Project No. 24-02) and has presented such plans and specifications <br />14 to the Council for approval. <br />15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: <br />16 1.Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br />17 are hereby approved. <br />18 2.The City Engineer shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Pioneer Press, the official <br />19 newspaper, the City’s website, and the eAdvert bidding platform, an advertisement for bids upon <br />20 the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The <br />21 advertisement shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall state <br />22 the date and time that the bids will be received by the City Engineer at which time they will be <br />23 publicly opened at Roseville City Hall by the City Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will <br />24 subsequently be considered by the Council. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed <br />25 via BidVAULT and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to the <br />26 City of Roseville for ten percent (10%) of the amount of such bid. <br />27 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />28 and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: ; and the following <br />29 voted against the same . <br />30 WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Qbhf!336!pg!342 <br /> <br />
