4. ANNUAL REPORTING, PLANNING & PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES <br /> <br /> 4.01. Annual Materials Reports <br /> <br />The Contractor will submit to the City annual reports dealing with the City <br />Day program. At a minimum, the Contractor shall include in each report the following <br />information: <br /> <br /> <br />under each category of <br /> materials that are tracked by item such as appliances. <br /> that are tracked by weight such as MSW. <br /> <br />Reports for the spring Clean Up Day shall be due by June 30. The Contractor shall <br />include in its annual report recommendations for continuous improvement in the City <br />Clean Up Day program. <br /> <br />Copies of annual reports generated by the Contractor shall be submitted upon request. <br /> <br /> 4.03 Annual Planning Meeting <br /> <br />The Contractor and the City <br />operation of the Clean Up Day. <br /> <br />5. MATERIALS DISPOSITION <br /> <br />5.01 Disposal Facilities Must Be Specified <br /> <br />The Contractor and the City shall work to maximize recycling of the material collected. <br />The Contractor shall assure that all materials collected at the Clean Up Day that cannot <br />be recycled are disposed of in accordance with all applicable state and federal <br />regulations. All facilities and parties handling the waste material must be licensed, <br />permitted or otherwise approved by the appropriate regulatory authority. <br /> <br />Items deemed to be Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) shall be taken to the Resource <br />Recovery Facility in Newport, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Contractor shall complete Attachment B - a list of disposal facilities for all the items <br />collected specified in 3.05 and on Attachment A. <br /> <br />The City retains the right to reject a Contractor <br />an alternate disposal facility. <br /> <br />9 of 15 <br />CUD 2024-26 Specs.docx <br />Qbhf!273!pg!335 <br /> <br />
