1 City of Roseville <br />2 ORDINANCE SUMMARY NO. ___ <br />3 <br />4 APPROVING PUBLICATION OF AN ORDINANCE SUMMARY OF THE <br />5 AMENDMENT TO TITLE 4, CHAPTER 407 OF THE <br />6 ROSEVILLE CITY CODE IN ORDER TO PERMIT ABATEMENTS IN <br />7 THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY AND CLARIFY THE ASSESSMENT <br />8 PROCESS <br />9 <br />10 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Roseville, on______, 2024, adopted <br />11 Ordinance No. _____________. Minnesota Statutes, section 412.191, subd. 4, <br />12 allows publication by title and summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or those <br />13 containing charts or maps. <br />14 <br />15 The City Council has determined that the following summary would clearly inform <br />16 the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. <br />17 <br />18 SECTION 2: The following is the official summary of Ordinance No._____ <br />19 entitled “AMENDING TITLE 4 CHAPTER 407 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY <br />20 CODE TO PERMIT ABATEMENTS IN THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY AND <br />21 CLARIFY THE ASSESSMENT PROCESS” which was approved by the City <br />22 Council of Roseville on ____________, 2024 and directs the City Clerk to publish <br />23 the title and summary as follows in the official newspaper in lieu of the entire <br />24 ordinance: <br />25 <br />26 On _________, 2024 , the City Council of the City of Roseville <br />27 adopted Ordinance No._____, an ordinance amending Title 4, <br />28 Chapter 407 of the Roseville City Code in order to permit abatement <br />29 in the Right-of-Way and clarify the assessment process for property <br />30 owners causing the nuisance condition that triggered the need for <br />31 abatement. <br />32 <br />33 SECTION 3: A printed copy of the full ordinance is available for inspection by any <br />34 person during regular office hours in the office of the City Manager at the Roseville <br />35 City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota 55113.
