1 City of Roseville 2 ORDINANCE SUMMARY NO. ___ 3 4 APPROVING PUBLICATION OF AN ORDINANCE SUMMARY OF THE 5 AMENDMENT TO TITLE 7, SECTION 703.05 OF THE 6 ROSEVILLE CITY CODE IN ORDER TO OUTLINE LICENSING 7 REQUIREMENTS FOR COURTESY BENCHES 8 9 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Roseville, on ______, 2024, adopted 10 Ordinance No. _____________. Minnesota Statutes, section 412.191, subd. 4, 11 allows publication by title and summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or those 12 containing charts or maps. 13 14 The City Council has determined that the following summary would clearly inform 15 the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. 16 17 SECTION 2: The following is the official summary of Ordinance No._____ 18 entitled “AMENDING TITLE 7, SECTION 703.05 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY 19 CODE TO OUTLINE LICENSING REQUIREMENTS FOR COURTESY 20 BENCHES” which was approved by the City Council of Roseville on 21 ____________, 2024 and directs the City Clerk to publish the title and summary as 22 follows in the official newspaper in lieu of the entire ordinance: 23 24 On ________, 2024, the City Council of the City of Roseville adopted 25 Ordinance No._____, an ordinance amending Title 7, Section 703.05 26 of the Roseville City Code in order to: 27 28 Change the term “Bus Bench” to “Courtesy Bench”; 29 Require a license for each Courtesy Bench and outline 30 licensing requirements and regulations; 31 Outline locations where Courtesy Benches may be placed. 32 33 SECTION 3: A printed copy of the full ordinance is available for inspection by any 34 person during regular office hours in the office of the City Manager at the Roseville 35 City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota 55113.
