Attachment 2 1 City of Roseville 2 ORDINANCE SUMMARY NO. ___ 3 4 APPROVING PUBLICATION OF AN ORDINANCE SUMMARY OF THE 5 AMENDMENT TO TITLE 9, CREATING CHAPTER 912 OF THE 6 ROSEVILLE CITY CODE IN ORDER TO 7 ESTABLISH AN AFFORDABLE HOUSING TRUST FUND 8 9 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Roseville, on February 12, 2024 10 adopted Ordinance No. _____________. Minnesota Statutes, section 412.191, subd. 11 4, allows publication by title and summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or those 12 containing charts or maps. 13 14 The City Council has determined that the following summary would clearly inform 15 the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. 16 17 SECTION 2: The following is the official summary of Ordinance No. _____ 18 entitled AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING TITLE 9, CHAPTER 912 19 CREATING AN AFFORDABLE HOUSING TRUST FUND which was approved 20 by the City Council of Roseville on February 12, 2024 and directs the City Clerk to 21 publish the title and summary as follows in the official newspaper in lieu of the 22 entire ordinance: 23 24 On February 12, 2024 the City Council of the City of Roseville 25 adopted Ordinance No._____, an ordinance amending Title 9, 26 creating Section 912 of the Roseville City Code in order to establish 27 an affordable housing trust fund including designating funding 28 sources, eligible activities, and determination or recipients. 29 30 SECTION 3: A printed copy of the full ordinance is available for inspection 31 by any person during regular office hours in the office of the City Manager at the 32 Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota 55113.
