39 D. Owner: A person, agent, firm, or corporation having a legal or equitable interest <br />40 in the property. In any corporation or partnership, the term owner includes <br />41 general partners and corporate officers. <br />42 E. Person: Includes individual, as well as, business entities, whether one or more. <br />43 F. Rent: Includes money or services in exchange for occupation of the unit. <br />44 G. Short-Term Rental: A non-owner-occupied dwelling unit rented for a period of <br />45 thirty (30) consecutive days or less. Rentals less thanmay not be made more <br />46 often than one every seven (7) consecutive days are prohibitedbetween October <br />47 1st and May 1st and rentals less thanmay not be made more often than one <br />48 every ten (10) consecutive days are prohibited between May 1st and October <br />49 1st. The use of recreational vehicles, campers or other similar vehicles as rentals <br />50 shall be prohibited. Short-term rental periods of up to from eight (8) tothirty <br />51 (30) consecutive days require a license under this Chapter. Rental periods for <br />52 more than for thirty (30) days require one of the following: a Lodging license <br />53 with an extended stay permit under City Code Chapter 317; registration as a <br />54 rental property under City Code Chapter 907; or a Rental License under City <br />55 Code Chapter 908. <br />56 H. Unit: All or a portion of a residential property that is arranged, designed, used, <br />57 or intended to be used as separate living quarters and which is leased to an <br />58 individual or group. (Ord 1596, 2-8-2021) <br />59 SECTION 2: Title 9 Section 909.03 of the Roseville City Code is amended to <br />60 read as follows: <br />61 <br />62 909.03: LICENSE REQUIRED: <br />63 <br />64 A.It shall be unlawful for any person to hereafter occupy, allow to be <br />65 occupied, or let to another person for occupancy any residential property <br />66 within the City for which an application for without a short-term rental <br />67 license has not been properly made, filed, and issued by the City or after <br />68 the time that a license is suspended or revoked. Applications for licensure <br />69 shall be as required by Chapter 301 of City Code, and shall be made upon <br />70 forms furnished by the City for such purpose and shall specifically require <br />71 the following minimum information: <br />72 <br />73 1. Name, street address, email and phone number of the property <br />74 owner. <br />75 <br />76 2.
