<br /> <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: 1/29/2024 <br />Item No.: 10.l. <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br /> <br /> <br />Item Description: Accept Public Improvements Related to the Rose Place Townhomes <br />Public Improvement Contract <br />1 <br />2 Background <br />3 On March 26, 2018, the City Council approved the Public Improvement Contract with Rose <br />4 of Sharon Manor, Inc., for development work related to the Rose Place Townhomes <br />5 development at 980-990 Lovell Ave West. The new public infrastructure constructed with <br />6 the project consists of watermain and sanitary sewer to serve the six townhome units. <br />7 <br />8 All public improvements have been completed to the City’s satisfaction. To close out the <br />9 Public Improvement Contract, a resolution (Attachment 1) from the City Council is needed <br />10 to accept the improvements. <br />11 <br />12 Policy Objectives <br />13 It is City policy to keep City-owned infrastructure in good operating condition and to keep <br />14 systems operating in a safe condition. <br />15 <br />16 Racial Equity Impact Summary <br />17 There should be no equity impacts associated with the closure of this project agreement. <br />18 <br />19 Budget Implications <br />20 All project costs related to the project were paid for by the developer. No further costs are <br />21 associated with the project nor the Public Improvement Contract. <br />22 <br />23 Staff Recommendations <br />24 The work completed was in accordance with the Public Improvement Contract. Staff <br />25 recommends the City Council approve a resolution accepting the public improvements <br />26 related to the Rose Place Townhomes Public Improvement Contract. <br />27 <br />28 Requested Council Action <br />29 Motion to adopt the resolution accepting the public improvements related to the Rose Place <br />30 Townhomes Public Improvement Contract. <br />31 <br />32 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />Qbhf!32:!pg!367 <br /> <br />
