I hope to continue to
support efforts by city staff, my fellow commissioners, city
council, and our dedicated residents to continue to create a
high quality of living in Roseville.

Some of my favorite topics of discussion over my past year on
the commission have been recycling, the EAB program, Less
Mow May, and utility billing. The first time I truly felt the impact
of what I get to do as a commissioner was when I put out my
Less Mow May sign. I got to talk to my neighbors about what it
means and encourage them to participate. I have also told
nearly everyone I know about how fascinating the tour of the
Eureka recycling plant was and have informed many people
that black plastic is not recyclable!

Should I continue to serve as a commissioner, I hope to
continue to review and discuss the health of our city's
infrastructure. I am particularly looking forward to making a
recommendation when the recycling RFP bids come in next
year. I am also looking forward to making recommendations
regarding future roadway reconstruction projects and utility
improvements.

Something I am actively working on that I plan to continue as a
commissioner is coordinating with career counseling staff at
Roseville Area High School. I am looking to present to students
about the many career paths related to public works, and
hopefully recruit a youth commissioner in the process.
Please describe any
I feel my career as a civil engineer will continue to be useful in
activities, specific skills
serving on the Public Works, Environment & Transportation
or experiences you have
commission.
