<br />Attachment 1 <br />1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />2 OF THE <br />3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />4 <br />5* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />6 <br />7 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />th <br />8 of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 8 day of January <br />9 2024, at 6:00 p.m. <br />10 <br />11 The following members were present: <br />12 <br />13 and the following were absent: <br />14 <br />15 Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />16 <br />17 RESOLUTION No. <br />18 <br />19 RESOLUTION APPROVING APPOINTMENT OF ASSISTANT WEED <br />20 INSPECTOR <br />21 <br />22 WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute 18.80 Subp. 2, requires the mayor of each city to <br />23 act as local weed inspector of the municipality; and <br />24 WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute 18.80 Subp. 3, allows a municipality to appoint <br />25 one or more assistants to act on behalf of the appointing authority as a weed inspector <br />26 for the municipality; and <br />27 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />28 ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA the appointment of the City of Roseville Community <br />29 Development Department’s Building Official as Assistant Weed Inspector for the <br />30 municipality. <br />31 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />32 by Council Member <br />33 <br />34 and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />35 <br />36 and the following voted against the same: none. <br />37 <br />38 WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />39 <br />40 RESOLUTION APPROVING APPOINTMENT OF ASSISTANT WEED INSPECTOR <br />41 <br />42 STATE OF MINNESOTA) <br />43 ) ss <br />Qbhf!346!pg!413 <br /> <br />
