iON <br />In2022, the City of Roseville embarked on a <br />community visioning process called Envision <br />Roseville. <br />City staff, with the help of a consultant went <br />out into the community and asked residents and <br />business owners what overarching values should <br />be driving the city's policies and practices. It had <br />been nearly 20 years since the city had last done <br />any formal visioning work. <br />Community input was reviewed, coded, and <br />grouped to make it easier to identify high level <br />trends and themes across multiple responses. <br />The themes were further refined, expanded, <br />and vetted to become a series of aspirational <br />statements which articulate the community's <br />vision for key topics. <br />These eight Community Aspirations are meant to <br />guide city policies, priorities, and decision making <br />for the coming decades. <br />Roseville aspires to be... <br />0 0 o a city that fosters a strong sense of community <br />through effective and incLusive communication, effective <br />engagement, and coLLaborative decision making. <br />a community that welcoming and inclusive <br />of aLL people regard Less of country of origin, race, <br />ethnicity, gender, sexual preferences. age.
