City parks, facilities, and recreational programming <br />WHERE... <br />All residents have safe and convenient access to culturally relevant and age -appropriate recreational <br />programming and inclusive park facilities. <br />Park programming is intentionally targeted to appeal to diverse communities and resources and <br />programming opportunities are actively promoted in ways that are accessible to all people. <br />Existing parkfacilities and buildings are maintained, celebrated, promoted, and used as places for all <br />people and all communities to gather. <br />Needs for newand expanded parkfacilities and programming are proactively anticipated and explored. <br />Example park facilities desires include: a community center with gathering places and diverse <br />programming, a splash pad forfamilies and children and more fountains and waterfeatures, a dog <br />park, a mountain bike facility, and a trail system connecting all of the parks. <br />— Example programming desires include: Multicultural programming to support and celebrate diverse <br />communities, programming that will appeal to older kids and teenagers, and additional family <br />recreation opportunities.
