Kitts, Ha'rrrnersten and McGee. Engineer E. C. Bather and <br />Attorney Roland 0 iver were also present. <br /> <br />. Carlmbn Moved, Salverda Seconded the minutes of the July 10, Council meeting <br />--~ be accepted as corrected. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />The Clerk read a letter from t...l1.e North End Business Men's Club extending an <br />invitation to the Roseville Fire Department to participate in their Gala <br />Festi~ Parade, Friday, August 3" }.956. <br />Kitts: Moved, Hammersten Seconded authorization be granted to the Fire Depart- <br />ment to send one vehicle and two men to the parade. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />A letter was read from Norbert Haher, Street Foremm recommending a $10.00 <br />increase in pay per month to Clarence Richter, Full time Assistant Foremffi. <br />The Engineer recommended the same. <br />Carlson Moved, Hamrnersten Seconded the Council concur wit:.'1 the recommendations <br />of Engineer and Street Fo~mæ to be effective July 16, 1956. <br />Roll Call ~e.; (5)-Nayes ~O). <br /> <br />Mrs. Roœrt Doth of 922 W. Millwood ~oke in behalf of many neighbors and <br />herself. A petition for rezoning ~i'ill be submitted to the <br />Council.. <br /> <br />Warren Brennan brought to the Council's attention the proposed rezoning in the <br />vicinl;y of Fairview and County RoadllQR from Fann to Irul.ustrial. Mr. Brennan <br />asked that the Council take action Qn_ the matter at thiv meeting. He W2.S told <br />that this could not be done as the Cõuncil was asked to notify the people con- <br />cernedwith the area in question before any action is taken. <br /> <br />Belden H. Loftsgaarden appeared in behalf of -~he àeveloper of Fairview I!i.lls <br />Plat. He reported that he has done come checking in reference to the method <br />of presenting a plat. Mr. Loftsgaanlen referred to the Village ordinance #1í39 <br />and ae:ked the Council to reconsider the action taken on the matter at the <br />Ju.1y 10, 1956 Council meeting. <br />Kitts Moved, Hammersten Seconded t~ action taken in relation to tb.:is matter <br />at the Ju.1y 10, 1956 Council meeting be reconsidered.
