EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 20th day of May, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Etten, Schroeder, Groff, Strahan, and Mayor Roe; and the following were absent: None. Councilmember Schroeder introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 12068 RESOLUTION VACATING A UTILITY EASEMENT THAT WAS RESERVED BY THE CITY IN A PREVIOUS VACATION OF A PORTION OF CARISLE AVENUE LYING NORTH OF THE PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 615, 577,AND 571 ROSELAWN AVENUE WEST AND A PORTION OF KENT STREET LYING EAST OF 571 ROSELAWN AVENUE WEST WHEREAS, on November 27, 2023, the City of Roseville vacated a portion of Carlisle Avenue that lied north of the properties located at 615, 577, and 571 Roselawn Avenue West and Kent Street that lies east of the property located at 571 Roselawn Avenue West by adopting Resolution No. 12034; and WHEREAS, said vacation reserved an easement for utility purposes within the vacated rights-of- way(the"Reserved Utility Easement"); and WHEREAS, on April 15, 2024, the City received a petition for vacation of the Reserved Utility Easement that was signed by a majority of the abutting property owners; and WHEREAS, the City Council pursuant to Minnesota Statutes § 412.851 desires to consider the vacation of the Reserved Utility Easement; and WHEREAS, the Reserved Utility Easement is legally described on the attached Exhibit A and as shown on the attached Exhibit B; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk published, posted, and mailed notice of a public hearing as required by law, and a public hearing was held on the proposed vacation on the 9th day of May, 2024; and WHEREAS, there are no utilities in the Reserved Utility Easement and no utilities are planned to be constructed by the City within the Reserved Utility Easement; and RS 160\1\951840.v1
