<br />.. 4 .. <br /> <br />A letter was read from the Planning Commission in relation to a park area <br />in the vicinity between County Road C and the Polar Food Plant just off <br />Snelling Avenue. Mrs. Bodey, representative for the proposed project <br />reported that she has talked to the State Highway Department. The matter <br />was referred to the engineer for advice on the drainage situation and a <br />report at the October 16 Council meeting. <br /> <br />William Rite presented the Council with a Risk Insurance Analysis report <br />and insurance records. <br /> <br />McGee Moved, H~ersten Se~onded that $828.00 be paid to Taylor and McCaskill <br /> <br />from the Liquor fund and the Municipal Building" Operating" and Sinking fund. <br />Roll Call Ayes (4)..Nayes (0). <br /> <br />MCGee Moved" Carlson Seconded Taylor and MaC as kill be authorized to proceed <br />with the quarterly report for the liquor stores and being the records up to date. <br />Roll Call Ayes (5)..N~es (0). <br /> <br />Two letters were read from the Minnesota State Department of Highways informing <br />the Council that permits may be secured from the Commissioner of Highwa;J's after <br />furnishing two certified checks in the amo1ll1t of $500.00 each for the following <br />perIni ts whiBh have been issued.. <br />1. Permit issued, based on the Village application for installation of <br />12n Sanitary Sewer crossing, Roselawn and Lexington, dated Sept. 7, 1956. <br />2. Permit issued, based on the Vill8ge application for installation of <br />8n sanitar.y sewer crossing" Lexington and Dionne, dated Sept. 5, 1956. <br />Carlson Moved" Hammersten Seconded that the two certified checks bv supplied <br />as setforth. in the letter, to the Commissioner of Highways. <br />Roll Call AyeE (4)-N~es (0). <br /> <br />WID. Schaefer, architect for Liquor Store #4, advised the Council that final pay- <br />ment may be made to the Conditioned Air Equipment Company on the contract fer <br />heating, ventilating and ajr conditioning of the LiE¡uor store. Mr. Schaefer <br />has advised the Conditioned Air Equipment Co. that they must, at the time of <br />payment, furnish the Village a letter in which they obligate themselves to <br />correct the faulty operation of the fresh air damper controls and the result- <br />ing smoky condition" should this become necessary on switching back to the <br />cooling cycle, or that they will pay the charges, if corrections are made qy <br />others in case Conditioned Air Equipment Co. does not responl immediately to <br />a notification by the Village. <br /> <br />The Matter of the need for additional elctrical work at the library was tabled. <br />until the next regular meeting. <br /> <br />A Je tter was read from Mr. and Mrs. G.
