The exact <br />property concerned is located in Block 2, Rosefair Court. <br /> <br />The Village Attorney submitted an opinion in regard to the request of B. L. <br />Gage for sewer service in a district wh'cch is au tside of Sanitary Sewer <br />District No. I. <br />Hæm~ersten Moved, McGee Seconded the attorney be instructed to draw the <br />necessary oapers for sewer service outside District #1. He reported that the list has been examined àh.d meets \.¡i th <br />substance of the ordinance and should provide a convenient method of fulfilling <br />the requirements of same. <br /> <br />Plat <br />Check <br />List <br /> <br />The Attorney submitted his opinion as to the legality of the Village reserving <br />certain open spaces for public use. <br /> <br />Pursuant to the Council's request, the Attorney submitted a resolution <br />pertaining to the adoption of the Comprehensive Plan. The Clerk read the <br />following resolution. <br />~~{ErtEAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 194, Village of Roseville, the <br />ªoseville Planning Commission has recowrrended to the Village Council the <br />adoption of a Village Plan for the Village of Roseville; and, <br />liHEREAS, the Village Council has, after proper notice thereof, held a <br />public. hea:r:lnK_Qn the adoption of said plan . <br />NUW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLllED by the Villa~e Council of Roseville: <br />That the plan attached hereto, marked Ex..1-¡ib~t "A" which by reference <br />thereto is in its enti:bety made a part hereof as fully as if set forth <br />herein at length, be and the SéJme is hereby adopted as the Village Plan <br />of this Village. <br />Adopted Qy the Council this 16th day of October, 1956. <br /> <br />Comp. <br />Plan <br /> <br />B. Orth, representing the Roseville Businessmen's association reported that <br />the association passed a resolution to request the Village Council to table the <br />adoption of the resolution so that they might have someone explain the matter <br />more thouroughly to them. <br />Carlson Moved, Hammersten Seconded the adoptio~ Qfthe r~sQlution be tabled <br />until the November 7 meeting. Roll Call Ayes t2)-Nayes U)...salverda, Kitts, <br />and McGee Opposed. <br />Mrs. Mooney felt that the Roseville Businessmen's Association should have made <br />themselves available for knowledge on the matter before this time, and that this <br />-request must be a motive to delay action. <br /> <br />Kitts Moved, Sal verda Seconded the resolution be adopted at t'~is time. <br />Roll Call Ayes (')-Nayes (2)wCarlson and Hammersten .pposed. <br /> <br />The Engineer gave a report of his findings on the lighting situation at the <br />Library.
