<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting on the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City <br />Hall on the twenty-third day of April, 1990, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Rog <br /> <br />Maschka, Johnson, Cushman, and Thomas, <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />and Councilmembers <br /> <br />Councilmember Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS NO. 8570 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR 1990 CONTRACT C <br /> <br />Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, <br />according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office <br />of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on April 17, 1990, <br />at 10:30 o'clock a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and <br />the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />BIDDER <br /> <br />AMOUNT <br /> <br />T.A. Schifsky and Sons <br />Central Landscaping <br />F. M. Frattalone Excavating <br />Ashbach Construction <br />Arcon Construction <br />Northdale Construction <br />Shafer Construction <br />C. S. McCrossan Construction <br /> <br />$784,644.29 <br />$789,551.69 <br />$855,259.73 <br />$861,267.80 <br />$894,939.44 <br />$967,734.45 <br />$1,040,318.85 <br />$1,185,087.91 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that T. A. Schifsky and Sons of N. st. Paul, <br />Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of <br />$784,644.29.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into a contract with T. A. Schifsky and Sons for $784,644.29 in <br />the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements <br />according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore <br />approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City <br />Manager. <br /> <br />2. The city Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except <br />the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder <br />shall be retained until contracts have been signed. <br />
