Attachment 1 lei Public Works Department Memo To: Public Works Environmental and Transportation Commission Members From: Jennifer Lowry, City Engineer Date: June 20, 2024 Re: Communications Items The following are updates to projects and other activities happening in Roseville since the last commission meeting: Roseville Public Works project updates: o Bike Plan • The online survey and map to compile comments are live until June 30, 2024. Please share the link below with your networks and encourage others to participate and subscribe. • Two bike audits and one walk audit took place on June 10, covering the Rosedale area and both southeast and northeast Roseville to identify specific areas and opportunities for improvement and route creation. Each audit had approximately 10-15 participants. • Staff and consultants met with Ramsey County and MnDOT staff on June 11 to begin planning for a demonstration project on Hamline Avenue between County Road B and County Road B2. • A network workshop took place on June 11, with around 25 community members taking part to identify locations and routes across Roseville in need of safe cycling infrastructure. • Bike Plan efforts were featured in a Star Tribune article on May 12 and a KSTP story on May 14. • Listening sessions with key groups are being scheduled. • httys://talkdot.state.mn.us/roseville-bike-plan McCarron Retaining Wall Replacement • Construction is anticipated to begin the week of July 8 and complete by Labor Day. County Road B Reconstruction, west of Cleveland Avenue • Construction continues to be delayed due to rain. Currently, storm sewer is anticipated to begin July 1. Residents are encouraged to subscribe to the website for ongoing updates. 2024 PMP • Portions of the PMP in the Midland Hills neighborhood adjacent to the reconstruction project will be done in coordination with the reconstruction.
