This equipment is at the end of their service life and have <br /> had numerous issues and are due for replacement. The City had requested quotes from vendors for installation of these units, and SVL came back as the lowest bidder through the state <br /> contract. These iwill be accounted for under the 2024 CIP budget.The fence is the original chain link fence from the 1960's and it is in need of repair to continue to help secure the <br /> water towsecurely. The new fence will be a 7' high ornamental fence on the east side of the site and a 6' high black vinyl chainlink febarbed wire on the top of the remaining sides <br /> of the site. Two quotes were received and Midwest Fence was the lowest quote. $30,000 is budgeted in the 2024 CIP and the remainder will be covered by contract maintenance in the operating <br /> budget.$15,000 has been budgeted in the 2024 CIP for the planning of replacing window coverings, which were originally installed in 2008.
