Minnesota Statutes, section 412.191, subd. 4, <br />12 allows publication by title and summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or those <br />13 containing charts or maps. <br />14 <br />15 The City Council has determined that the following summary would clearly inform <br />16 the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. <br />17 <br />18 SECTION 2: The following is the official summary of Ordinance No._____ <br />19 entitled “CREATING TITLE 10 CHAPTER 1024 TO TRANSFER THE <br />20 PROCEDURES FOR PREPARATION, ADOPTION, AND AMENDMENT OF <br />21 THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FROM TITLE 2, CHAPTER 202 TO TITLE 10 <br />22 CAHPTER 1024.” which was approved by the City Council of Roseville on <br />23 _________________, 2024, and directs the City Clerk to publish the title and <br />24 summary as follows in the official newspaper in lieu of the entire ordinance: <br />25 <br />26 On April 22, 2024, the City Council of the City of Roseville adopted <br />27 Ordinance No._____, an ordinance amending Title 10, to establish <br />28 Chapter 1024 to transfer the process for preparation, adoption, and <br />29 amendment of the Comprehensive Plan from Title 2, Chapter 202 to <br />30 Title 10 Chapter 1024. <br />31 <br />32 SECTION 3: A printed copy of the full ordinance is available for inspection by any <br />33 person during regular office hours in the office of the City Manager at the Roseville <br />34 City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota 55113.
