From:Joe Linn
To:*RVCouncil; Pat Trudgeon
Subject:Opposition to privacy fence at 257 S McCarrons
Date:Friday, June 14, 2024 4:08:09 PM
\[Some people who received this message don't often get email from joe-linn@comcast.net. Learn why this is
important at https://aka.ms/LearnAboutSenderIdentification \]
Caution: This email originated outside our organization; please use caution.
We support the City Council’s action requiring the removal of the new privacy fence at 257 S McCarrons.
We have lived at 318 S McCarrons for 28 years. During that time, one of our favorite things about living here is the
beautiful views of Lake McCarrons. The privacy fence at 257 S McCarrons is an eyesore and a safety hazard. Its
industrial appearance completely changes the character of the neighborhood. It poses a safety hazard for people on
the walking path when a car is driving out of the property.
It must be particularly distressing for residents who purchased the new houses at the Enclave development across
the street from the fence. They purchased homes with a beautiful view of the lake and now their lake view has been
replaced with the view of an ugly fence. I know how much we have enjoyed sitting in our home and viewing the
lake for these 28 years and we’d certainly be distressed if someone blocked our view.
Thanks.
Joe Linn and Jody Lulich
Sent from my iPad
Qbhf!66!pg!331
