Attachment 1 <br />SALES TAX FOR NEW PARKS AND PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE FACILITY. <br />Option 1: <br />Should the City of Roseville impose a one-half of one percent (0.5%) sales and use tax <br />for up to 20 years for $64,200,000, plus the cost of interest and of issuing the bonds, to <br />build a new parks and public works maintenance facility? If one or both questions are <br />approved by the voters, the City is only authorized to impose a single one-half of one <br />percent (0.5%) sales and use tax for the lesser of 20 years or until enough sales tax <br />revenue has been raised to pay for the costs of the proposed projects. <br />Option 2: (adding -- by voting “yes/no” language) <br />Should the City of Roseville impose a one-half of one percent (0.5%) sales and use tax <br />for up to 20 years for $64,200,000, plus the cost of interest and of issuing the bonds, to <br />build a new parks and public works maintenance facility? By voting “yes” on this question, <br />you are voting to increase the sales tax in Roseville. By voting “no” on this question, you <br />are voting not to increase the sales tax in Roseville to fund the construction of a new <br />parks and public works maintenance facility.
