Attachment 1 SALES TAX FOR NEW PARKS AND PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE FACILITY. Option 1: Should the City of Roseville impose a one-half of one percent (0.5%) sales and use tax for up to 20 years for $64,200,000, plus the cost of interest and of issuing the bonds, to build a new parks and public works maintenance facility? If one or both questions are approved by the voters, the City is only authorized to impose a single one-half of one percent (0.5%) sales and use tax for the lesser of 20 years or until enough sales tax revenue has been raised to pay for the costs of the proposed projects. Option 2: (adding -- by voting “yes/no” language) Should the City of Roseville impose a one-half of one percent (0.5%) sales and use tax for up to 20 years for $64,200,000, plus the cost of interest and of issuing the bonds, to build a new parks and public works maintenance facility? By voting “yes” on this question, you are voting to increase the sales tax in Roseville. By voting “no” on this question, you are voting not to increase the sales tax in Roseville to fund the construction of a new parks and public works maintenance facility.
