5. Public Works Capital Improvement Plan <br />Public Works Director Jesse Freihammer explained each year all departments <br />update the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for each fund the City has. <br />Vice Chair Hodder asked how the resale market worked with City vehicles. <br />Mr. Freihammer explained the City usually works with somebody and puts the <br />vehicle up for bid, and sometimes the City will do a trade-in with the vendor. <br />Mr. Freihammer continued with his presentation. <br />The Commission asked questions regarding County and City trails, bike paths, and <br />maintenance of them. <br />Mr. Freihammer updated the Commission on the stormwater fund and recycling <br />cart RFP. <br />Member Mueller indicated she would like the CIP to be a priority for the <br />Commission. <br />Mr. Freihammer reviewed the 2025 proposed City Manager budget with the <br />Commission. <br />6. Lead -Free Update <br />Public Works Director Jesse Freihammer explained the Minnesota Department of <br />Health is requiring all public water systems to document what material the water <br />service to the homes and businesses is made of. The goal is to identify if any <br />services are lead. The City of Roseville's water system was started in the mid- <br />1960s so there were likely very few lead services that were installed. <br />Mr. Freihammer gave the PWETC a presentation on the Lead -Free Roseville <br />program. <br />7.
