<br />Attachment 1 <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />th <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 5 day of August, 2024, at 6:00 <br />p.m. <br />The following members were present: Strahan, Etten, Schroeder, Groff and Roe; and the <br />following members were absent: None. <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION No. <br />ACCEPTING DONATION FROM TAREEN DERMATOLOGY TO SUPPORT FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT OUTREACH PROGRAMS <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council has authorized donations to be accepted by the Fire <br />Department; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fire Department has utilized donation dollars in the past to support <br /> community outreach programs like Friday’s with Firefighters, Vial of Life, and medication <br />disposal bags, as well as our new mental health K9 therapy program; and <br />WHEREAS, Tareen Dermatology has offered a donation to support the mentioned <br />programs and others with a donation; and <br />WHEREAS, the City will benefit from this donation, which has an estimated value of up to <br /> $15,000 as it will ensure that the Roseville Fire Department can provide programs like Friday’s <br />with Firefighters, Vial of Life, and our mental health K9 therapy program to benefit <br />firefighters; therefore, be it <br />RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Roseville, on behalf of the City of Roseville, <br />thanks Tareen Dermatology and accepts the gift of $15,000 be spent on community programs <br />managed by the Roseville Fire Department. <br />Qbhf!2:2!pg!2:4 <br />RS160\\7\\967176.v1 <br /> <br />
