<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was <br />duly held on the 23rddayof April , 1990, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />Maschka, Johnson, Cushman, Thomas, and Rog, <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Johnson moved that the following <br />resolution be adopted. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8573 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Adel Alwan, d/b/a/ U.S. Games Center, has applied <br />to the City of Roseville for a license ta operate an amusement <br />place, five amusement devices, game room and two pool tables at <br />2180 North Dale Street: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, he was referred to the Planning Commission for a <br />public hearing and the Planning Commission did not pass on a <br />formal recommendation: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Roseville voted 4 <br />to I to deny said application and makes the following Findings: <br /> <br />1) The proposed use is not compatible with the school <br />located directly across from the facility: <br /> <br />2) The proposed use would have an adverse effect on the <br />surrounding residential area: and <br /> <br />3) Parking is inadequate for the facility. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by member Thomas and upon a vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Maschka, Johnson, Cushman, Thomas, and Rag, <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />1 <br />
