1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING 2 OF THE 3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE 4 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 5 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of th 6 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 7day of October, 2024, at 7 6:00 p.m. 8 The following members were present: , , , , and Mayor . 9 and the following were absent: . 10 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 11 RESOLUTION No. 12 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF THE ALLEY THAT IS 13 DEDICATED IN SHADY BEACH PLAT 14 WHEREAS, the City Council pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 412.851 desires to consider 15 the vacation of the alley in the Shady Beach plat; and 16 WHEREAS, the alleythat is being vacated is legally described on the attached Exhibit A and is 17 shown on the attached Exhibit B; and 18 WHEREAS, the City Clerk published, posted, and mailed notice of a public hearing as required th 19 by law, and a public hearing was held on the proposed vacation on the 7 day of October, 2024; 20 and 21 WHEREAS, the public alley is not currently, nor is it planned to be, constructed within this area 22 on the plat; and 23 WHEREAS, the City Council in its discretion has determined that the vacation will benefit the 24 public interest because this area is not needed for current or future public alley purposes. 25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that: 26 1.The alley within the Shady Beach plat is hereby vacated, with the exception that an 27 easement for utility purposes within the vacated alley is hereby reserved. 28 2.City staff and consultants are hereby authorized and directed to file a notice of completion 29 of vacation proceedings. 30 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member , 31 and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: , , , 32 , and Mayor .
