1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />2 OF THE <br />3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />4 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />5 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />th <br />6 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 7day of October, 2024, at <br />7 6:00 p.m. <br />8 The following members were present: , , , , and Mayor . <br />9 and the following were absent: . <br />10 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />11 RESOLUTION No. <br />12 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF A TOWN ROAD <br />13 EASEMENT/ROSE PLACE IN THE T.M. CONNOR PLAT <br />14 WHEREAS, the City Council pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 412.851 desires to consider <br />15 the vacation of a portion of unimproved right-of-way that was established by Town Road <br />16 Easement, Document Number 1144704, recorded in the Office of the County Recorder on April <br />17 2, 1947 and dedicated as “Rose Place” in the T.M. Connor Plat; and <br />18 WHEREAS, the portion of unimproved right-of-way that is being vacated is shown on the attached <br />19 Exhibit A and legally described on the attached Exhibit B; and <br />20 WHEREAS, the City Clerk published, posted, and mailed notice of a public hearing as required <br />th <br />21 by law, and a public hearing was held on the proposed vacation on the 7 day of October, 2024; <br />22 and <br />23 WHEREAS, a public street is not currently, nor is planned to be, constructed within this right-of- <br />24 way; and <br />25 WHEREAS, the City Council in its discretion has determined that the vacation will benefit the <br />26 public interest because this portion of the right-of-way is not needed for current or future right-of- <br />27 way purposes. <br />28 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that: <br />29 1.A portion of the unimproved right-of-way that is described in Town Road Easement <br />30 Document Number 1144704 and dedicated as “Rose Place” in the T.M. Connor Plat <br />31 and that is adjacent to the northerly boundary of the property located at 2574 Dunlap <br />32 Street North (Lot 12, Block 1, T.M.
