1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING 2 OF THE 3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE 4 5* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 6 7 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of th 8 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 25 day of November 2024, at 9 6:00 p.m. 10 11 The following members were present: , , , , and Mayor . 12 and the following were absent: . 13 14 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 15 16 17 RESOLUTION No. 18 19 Resolution Accepting Donations 20 21 WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is generally authorized to accept donations of real and 22 personal property for the benefit of its residents pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 465.03 23 and is specifically authorized to accept gifts for the benefit of its public recreational services 24 pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 471.17; and 25 26 WHEREAS, the Friends of Roseville Parks (FOR Parks) has offered to donate $75,000 to the 27 City for improvements to the Lexington Park Playground; and 28 29 WHEREAS, the above-referenced donation has no further conditions on its acceptance; and 30 31 WHEREAS, the donation is contributed to the City for the benefit of its residents and public 32 recreational services; and 33 34 WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council finds that it is appropriate to accept the donation offered; 35 36 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; that the Roseville City Council, on behalf of the City 37 of Roseville, Minnesota, hereby accepts the donation of $75,000 from the Friends of Roseville 38 Parks for improvements to the Lexington Park Playground. 39 40 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member , 41 and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: , , , 42 , and Mayor . 43 and the following voted against the same: . 44 45 WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted Qbhf!6!pg!745
