ATTACHMENT 4 <br />November 1, 2024 Case #ENF24-383 <br /> <br /> <br />Bill Vang <br />1775 Maple Lane <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Vang, <br /> <br />A re-inspection of the property at 1775 Maple Ln has revealed that code violations have not been fully <br />corrected, specifically: <br /> <br /> Unlicensed vehicles stored outside. <br /> Outside storage of misc. materials and equipment. <br /> <br />These are violations of Roseville’s City Code, specifically: <br /> 407.02 G and 407.04 D, both of which require that vehicles stored outside be in operable <br />condition and display current registration / licensure. <br /> 407.03 I, which prohibits the outside piling, storing or keeping of old machinery, furniture, <br />household furnishings or appliances or component parts thereof, rusting metal <br />inoperable/unusable equipment, or other debris visible on private or public property. <br /> 407.02 C which prohibits an accumulation of tin cans, bottles, trash, uprooted tree stumps, logs, <br />limbs, brush, cut vegetative debris, or other debris of any nature or description and the <br />throwing, dumping or depositing of any dead animals, manure, garbage, waste, decaying <br />matter, ground, sand, stones, ashes, rubbish, tin cans or other material of any kind onto public <br />or private property. <br /> 407.04 D – Vehicles Without Current Registration: Except where expressly permitted by state <br />law, any vehicle or other equipment, which requires registration for operation in the State of <br />Minnesota, shall be deemed to be junked, inoperable, unauthorized or abandoned if said vehicle <br />does not have attached thereto a valid registration issued by the proper State agency. <br /> <br />If the violations listed are not corrected within 5 days and continuously maintained in compliance <br />thereafter, this matter will be discussed at a public hearing before Roseville’s City Council. At this public <br />hearing, the Community Development Department will request authority from the City Council to <br />perform a City abatement and contract with private companies to have all violations corrected and/or <br />issue an administrative citation. This would entail the expenditure of funds for which you, as the <br />property owner, would be responsible to repay. If the violations are corrected prior to the public hearing <br />date, the public hearing will be cancelled and the case file closed. <br /> <br />This public hearing will be scheduled for an upcomingCity Council meeting on November 25, 2024, for <br />which you are being be notified. City Council meetings are held in the City Council Chambers located at <br />2660 Civic Center Drive and begin at 6:00 p.m. I encourage you to attend the meeting.
