2025 Capital Improvement Plan <br /> Project/Initiative Summary <br /> <br />Department/Division: Parks and Recreation <br />Project/Initiative Title: Rosebrook Pool <br />Total Estimated Cost: 500,000 <br />Funding Source: Parks and Recreation CIP <br />Annual Operating Budget Impact: NA <br />Project/Initiative Description: <br />The Rosebrook wading pool was installed sometime in the 1970s and well beyond its useful life. <br />It is experiencing failing in the concrete shell, piping, pumping system and filtration system. Due <br />to its age, replacement parts cannot be procured. Additionally, the pool is not up to current-day <br />codes. It is estimated that a one-to-one replacement would cost around $1.4 million. <br /> <br />This proposed CIP item is for replacement of the pool with a splash pad.
