EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the city council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall of Monday, the fourteenth day of May, 1990, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Johnson, Thomas, Maschka, and Rog. Cushman arrived at 7:55 p.m. and the following were absent: None. Councilmember Thomas introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8575 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR 1990 CONTRACT F WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council on February 26, 1990, Barton-Ashmann has prepared plans and specifications for Improvement No. M-P-90-15 and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. 1990 Contract F includes improvement No. M-P-90-15, turn-lanes on Fairview Avenue just north of T. H. 36, relocation of signals at west entrance of Rosedale, and overlay of Fairview Avenue. The city Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Roseville Review, the official newspaper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for Improvement No. M-P-90-15 shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call the bids on the basis of cash payment for such work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City Manager and Public Works Director until 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, 1990, at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Manager and subsequently be considered by the Council: and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to the Manager for ten percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Maschka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Johnson, Thomas, Maschka, and Rog and the following voted against: None. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
