Attachment EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 1Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of th 2Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 24 day of March, 2025, at 6:00 3p.m. 4 5The following members were present: ; and and the following members were absent: . 6 7Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 8 9 RESOLUTION NO.___________ 10 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM THE GRANITE FOUNDATION 11 OF FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A RESCUE VEHICLE 12 13WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is generally authorized to accept donations of real and 14personal property for the benefit of its residents pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 465.03; 15 16WHEREAS, the Granite Foundation has offered to donate to the City funds in the amount 17of $50,000.00 for the purchase of a rescue vehicle designed to safely bring our first responders 18(police and fire) to those in need and evacuate injured individuals from active scenes; 19 20WHEREAS, the above-referenced donation has no further conditions on its acceptance; 21 22WHEREAS, the donation is contributed to the City for the benefit of its residents; and, 23 24WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is appropriate to accept the donation offered. 25 26NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Roseville City Council, on behalf of the City 27of Roseville, Minnesota, hereby accepts the gift of the donation described herein. 28 29The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member 30and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following 31voted against the same: 32 33WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
