REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
Date: 4/7/2025
Item No.: 10.a.
Department Approval City Manager Approval

Item Description: Approval of Payments
1
2 Background
3 State Statute requires the City Council to approve all payment of claims. The following
4 summary of claims has been submitted to the City for payment.
5
Check Series # Amount
ACH Payments $341,911.57
112235 – 112347 $361,886.40
Total $703,797.97
6
7 A detailed report of the claims is attached. The City Staff has reviewed the claims and
8 considers them to be appropriate for the goods and services received.
9
10
11 Policy Objectives
12 Under MN State Statute, all claims are required to be paid within 35 days of receipt.
13
14
15 Equity Impact Summary
16 Local governments play an important role in building racially equitable and inclusive
17 regional economies. Payments to vendors contribute to the local economy by supporting
18 businesses within the community, including those owned by people of color. Ensuring
19 equitable distribution of contracts and payments among vendors, particularly minority-
20 owned businesses, can help promote economic equity. This supports the broader goals of
21 reducing racial economic disparities as well as Roseville's aspiration to have a community
22 that is economically prosperous with a stable and broad tax base and vibrant small
23 businesses.
24
25
26 Budget Implications
27 All expenditures listed above have been funded by the current budget, from donated
28 monies, or from cash reserves.
29
30
Qbhf!55!pg!231
