The original system was installed in 1999 and <br />was leased from Xcel Energy. In 2024, the lease expired and the City took ownership. The system <br />needs replacement due to its age. The new lighting system would upgrade all fixtures and wiring <br />to new standards. The new lights would be light emitting diode (LED), replacing the exiting high <br />pressure sodium (HPS) lights which should reduce long term operating and maintenance costs. <br />Location: <br />County Road C & Arthur Street <br />Qbhf!77!pg!231 <br /> <br />
