1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />2 OF THE <br />3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />4 <br />5 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />6 <br />7 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />th <br />8 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 7 day of April, 2025, at <br />9 6:00 p.m. <br />10 <br />11 The following members were present: <br />12 and the following were absent: <br />13 <br />14 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 RESOLUTION No. <br />18 <br />19 RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON FAIRVIEW AVENUE FROM COUNTY <br />20 ROAD C TO TWIN LAKES PARKWAY WITHIN THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />21 <br />22 WHEREAS, Fairview Avenue (CSAH 48), from County Road C to Twin Lakes Parkway, is a <br />23 Ramsey County Road within the City of Roseville; and <br />24 <br />25 WHEREAS, the road segment was restriped in 2016 creating shoulders that were not intended <br />26 for parking, but are not adequately signed to prohibit parking; and <br />27 WHEREAS, the City of Roseville wishes to prohibit parking to provide clarity for the public and <br />28 for enforcement of parking violations; and <br />29 WHEREAS, Ramsey County requires a no parking resolution so a no parking zone can be <br />30 established; and <br />31 <br />32 WHEREAS, on Fairview Avenue, from County Road C to Twin Lakes Parkway, parking will be <br />33 restricted on both sides of the street and “no parking” signs will be posted. <br />34 <br />35 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that <br />36 parking is hereby prohibited on both sides of Fairview Avenue from County Road C to Twin <br />37 Lakes Parkway. <br />38 <br />39 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member , <br />40 and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: , , <br />41 , , and. <br />Qbhf!:3!pg!231 <br /> <br />
