The goals emphasize
inclusive engagement, access to city services, and responsiveness to the needs of all,
including historically underrepresented communities. This approach will help ensure that
future objectives and work plans are developed with an intentional focus on removing
barriers and improving outcomes for all residents. By embedding equity into the foundation
of the strategic plan, the city can continue to make intentional, long-term progress toward a
more inclusive and responsive government.

Budget Implications
The Strategic Plan itself does not have direct budgetary impacts. However, it is anticipated
that future city budgets will align with the goals and objectives to ensure the city is actively
working to achieve the Success Indicators and Desired Impacts.

Staff Recommendations
Staff recommends council review and provide feedback on the goals and success
indicators and ultimately adopt them.
Qbhf!5!pg!75
