1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />2 OF THE <br />3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />4 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />5 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />st <br />6 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 21 day of April, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. <br />7 The following members were present: , , , , and Mayor . <br />8 and the following were absent: . <br />9 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />10 RESOLUTION No. <br />11 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OFEUSTIS STREET <br />12 WHEREAS, the City Council pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 412.851 desires to consider <br />13 the vacation of a portion of Eustis Street; and <br />14 WHEREAS, the portion of Eustis Street that is being vacated is legally described on the attached <br />15 Exhibit A and as shown on the attached Exhibit B; and <br />16 WHEREAS, the City Clerk published, posted, and mailed notice of a public hearing as required <br />st <br />17 by law, and a public hearing was held on the proposed vacation on the 21 day of April, 2025; and <br />18 WHEREAS, a publicstreetis not currently, nor is planned to be, constructed within this right-of- <br />19 way; and <br />20 WHEREAS, the City Council in its discretion has determined that the vacation will benefit the <br />21 public interest because this portion of Eustis Street isnot needed for current or future right-of-way <br />22 purposes. <br />23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that: <br />24 1.That portion of Eustis Street that is legally described on the attached Exhibit Ais <br />25 hereby vacated, with the exception that an easement for utility purposes within the <br />26 vacated right-of-way is hereby reserved. <br />27 2.City staff and consultants are hereby authorized and directed to file a notice of <br />28 completion of vacation proceedings. <br />29 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member , <br />30 and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: , , , <br />31 , and Mayor . <br />32 and the following voted against the same: . <br />RS160\\1\\944413.v1 <br />Qbhf!23!pg!216 <br /> <br />
