1 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />2 OF THE <br />3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />4 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />5 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />st <br />6 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 21 day of April, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. <br />7 The following members were present: , , , , and Mayor . <br />8 and the following were absent: . <br />9 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />10 RESOLUTION No. <br />11 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF <br />12 ALDINE STREET <br />13 WHEREAS, the City Council pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 412.851 desires to consider <br />14 the vacation of Aldine Street that is located between the properties located at 77 Mid Oaks Lane, <br />15 85 Mid Oaks Lane, 87 Mid Oaks Lane, 89 Mid Oaks Lane, 91 Mid Oaks Lane, and 93 Mid Oaks <br />16 Lane in the plat of Mid Oaks and possibly on the properties located at 1705 Roselawn Avenue <br />17 West and 1706 Ryan Avenue West; and <br />18 WHEREAS, the portion of Aldine Street that is being vacated islegally described on the attached <br />19 Exhibit A and as shown on the attached Exhibit B; and <br />20 WHEREAS, the City Clerk published, posted, and mailed notice of a public hearing as required <br />st <br />21 by law, and a public hearing was held on the proposed vacation on the 21 day of April, 2025; and <br />22 WHEREAS, a publicstreetis not currently, nor is planned to be, constructed within this right-of- <br />23 way; and <br />24 WHEREAS, the City Council in its discretion has determined that the vacation will benefit the <br />25 public interest because this portion of Aldine Streetis not needed for current or future right-of- <br />26 way purposes. <br />27 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDby the City Council of the City of Roseville, that: <br />28 1.That portion of Aldine Streetthat lies between 1706 Ryan Avenue West, 1705 <br />29 Roselawn Avenue West, 77 Mid Oaks Lane, 85 Mid Oaks Lane, 87 Mid Oaks Lane, <br />30 89 Mid Oaks Lane, 91 Mid Oaks Lane, and 93 Mid Oaks Lane in the plat of Mid Oaks <br />31 with the exception that an easement for utility purposes within the vacated right-of- <br />32 way is hereby reserved if said property contains a right-of-way easement. <br />RS160\\1\\914424.v4 <br />Qbhf!33!pg!216 <br /> <br />
